Ak-Bulak – one of the most famous ski resorts in Kazakhstan, located in the foothills of the Zailiyskiy Alatau, in the Soldatskiy Gorge at an altitude of 2,600 meters above sea level. Ak-Bulak complex is located 40 kilometers east of the city of Almaty, where the airport is located, which receives flights of the largest airlines. You can also get to Ak-Bulak by car or taxi.

The climate of Ak-Bulak is typical for a high-mountain resort. The air temperature in summer rises to + 25 & deg; C, and in winter it does not drop below -15 °; C. A distinctive feature of the resort, in addition to clean air, are dense fogs descending from the mountains quite often and leading to a significant decrease in visibility. The ski season in Akbulak lasts from late November to late April.
