The total area of the resort is 55 hectares, the maximum height above sea level – 1650 m, and the maximum height difference – 400 meters with a track length of up to 2 km. The easiest way to get to Tabagan is from Almaty, located 17 km away: there is a road passing through the villages of Talgar and Beskaynar, the latter of which is the main base of the resort.  Summer Tabagan Tabagan's climate is sharply continental with little snowy cold winters and rather hot dry summers. Average January temperature – the coldest month of the year – is -18 ° C, the average July temperature is + 21 ° C. C. Ski season lasts all winter, that is, from mid-November to April.
