Mencilis Cave in Turkey, Safranbolu Resort
Rating: 7,5/10 (400 votes)  Mencilis Cave is part of the Bulak Mencilis cave complex and is located 10 kilometers from the city of Safranbolu. In huge caves (the length of the halls open for tourist visits is 400 meters) you can see ancient stalactites. The upper vaults of the caves were chosen by bats. Quite a long time ago, in one of the caves of the Bulak Mencilis complex Algerian soldiers immured themselves to escape their pursuers and died without ever leaving it.
