Almost nothing is left of the building that was built by the commander Amr ibn el-Asa. The modern building was erected in 1789. Only some fragments of the columns remained from the original building. A special object of worship – this is the tomb of Abdula, son of Amr. It is believed that even the most serious illnesses can be healed by touching this tomb.
