Glienicke Bridge (or Gliniki Bridge) – one of the most famous bridges in the country, as it is associated with a number of important and memorable events that took place on it. The bridge itself runs across the Havel River and connects Berlin with Potsdam. On this bridge, meetings of Soviet and American special services often took place. The purpose of the meetings is – exchange of spies taken under arrest. The media even managed to call this bridge `` spy ''.

First, on February 10, 1962, the Soviet Union changed the American pilot Francis Powers, who was shot down over Sverdlovsk, to Rudolf Abel, who was revealed FBI. Second, in the spring of 1964, Soviet agent Konon Molodoy was exchanged for British agent Greville Wynn.
