This castle was named after the Duke Francisco de Borgia, who lived there in the 15th century. This castle was built and expanded for 700 years, and today it is a huge collection of various architectural styles. The cathedral was originally built in the Gothic style, but then the Renaissance, Baroque and many others were added.

The main entrance leads into a hall with a magnificent ceiling. Four intersecting corridors of the palace form a courtyard called the Reed Yard. There are six neo-Gothic windows in the first corridor.

One of the most important rooms of the palace - – this is the Crown Assembly Hall. The hall was named so thanks to the numerous images of the crown that adorn the coffered ceiling.

Chambers of the Saint Duke – this is another palace room. It used to be the office of the Duke of Gandia, but in 1896 the Society of Jesus turned the room into a chapel. The suite is decorated in the neo-Gothic style, widespread in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Another chapel chapel also previously belonged to the 4th Duke of Gandia. The wall engravings in the chapel depict the 15 Mysteries of the Roses. In the 19th century, the chapel was restored many times. The ceiling of the room is covered with ceramic discs and marble.

According to legend, Francisco de Borja was born in the Duchess's Chamber in 1510. This room is quite large, but appears to be smaller due to the arched partitions.

Another attraction of the palace – this is the Eagle Hall. It was once the main hall of the house. In the 18th century, a stepped cornice and a frieze, which are characteristic of the Baroque, were added to the decor of the room. The center of the ceiling is adorned with gold leaves and carved roses.

The Green Hall, from which you can access the Eagle Hall, houses the palace's tallest coffered ceiling dating back to the 16th century. The room is decorated with blue and green tiles.

One of the most magnificent rooms in the palace – Gold gallery. It was completed by the 18th century. This gallery consists of 5 rooms separated by carved porticoes and stucco decorations.
