Black Lake in Montenegro
Rating: 8,7/10 (521 votes)  Lake under the beautiful name Black is located on the slope of the mountain Medied. The lake got its name thanks to the coniferous forest growing around, whose crowns reflect from the lake water and really give them a very dark color. The lake has two parts: Big and Small lakes, and a small waterfall flows from one to the other. The shores of the lake are equipped with a recreation area, including paths, benches and small cozy restaurants. Most often, tourists swim and sunbathe here. Local residents zealously protect the purity of the lake's nature, which allows them to avoid the harmful human influence on these places. There is an interesting natural history museum next to the lake with souvenirs and demonstrations of films about Montenegrin nature.
