Amusement Park Grona Lund Tivoli (literally translated as `` Green Grove '') is located on the sea side of the island of Djurgarden and is relatively small compared to other amusement parks, mainly due to for its central location, which limits its territorial expansion.

Grona Lund was founded in 1880, making it the oldest amusement park in Sweden. It has collected more than 30 attractions in an area of 15 acres, and is also a popular venue for summer concerts.

In 1883, a German named Jacob Schultheiss rented an area in Stockholm to build carousels and other entertainment, and until 2001 Schultheis's descendants ruled the Gron Lund Park for years. Since 2006, the park has been owned by the Scandinavia AB group of parks and resorts, which is wholly owned by the Titstrand family.

The location of the park is completely unique in the sense that most of its buildings are old residential and commercial buildings of the 19th century ... Consequently, not buildings were built for the park, but the park was erected around the buildings. The park is divided into three different entertainment areas.

Grona Lund has most of the famous attractions, such as the love tunnel, the laugh room, and seven roller coasters. Grona Lund is also known for her rock and pop concerts. For example, the 1980 Bob Marley concert drew 32,000 people in the park, which is unique as the new rules prohibit such large audiences from gathering in Grona Lund.
