Liseberg is a recreation park for the whole family with attractions, a universal pavilion for circus performances, concerts and dance evenings. The park was founded in 1923 to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Gothenburg. Its popularity can only be compared with the popularity of the Tivoli parks in Copenhagen or Grena Lund in Stockholm. The park is open from April to September.
