While on the terrace of the mosque, you can admire the beautiful panoramic views from the hill, on the top of which the temple is located. Unfortunately, the building of this modest mosque, during the construction of which Iznik faience was used, has not been completely preserved, but two minarets with balconies managed to avoid destruction. In front of the building there is a gallery, the domes above which are supported by marble and granite columns. The dome of the Yavuz-Selim mosque has a slightly flattened shape and is decorated with gilded engraving. The interior decoration of the mosque is mainly made in blue and yellow colors. The mosque complex also includes the tombs where the remains of the padishah Selim are buried, as well as children of Sultan Suleiman the Legislator.
