The Odeon is a semicircular structure, best known as the Small Theater, located north of the Agora, at the top of a hill. According to the inscription, the odeon was built by Publius Vedius Anthony in 150.
Initially, the odeon was built as a place for meetings of the city Senate. The structure was designed for 1 400 seats and at that time was used alternately: either for theatrical performances, or for Senate meetings.
