The agora was finally built up in the 4th century under Theodosius, at the same time, decorated with a colonnaded portico ... The Agora was the center of commercial activity, where merchants from all over the Empire often gathered. It also housed a slave market, and often held city meetings on occasions of secular and religious celebrations. Today, the structure remains only ruins.
