Temple of Apollo in Turkey, Pamukkale resort

It was the largest sanctuary in the polis, but now only a platform surrounded by a wall and a staircase that led to the foot of the temple remain of it. According to legend, the temple collapsed during the earthquake that struck when the Apostle Philip was crucified.
