St. Philip's Martyrium in Turkey, Pamukkale resort

According to legend, the temple stands right on the site of the death of the Apostle Philip. The temple was an octagon with a diameter of 20 meters. According to legend, the tomb of the apostle was in the central room of the church, but it has not yet been found. The roof of the central room was trimmed with lead, the roof of the rest of the temple was just wooden. Due to frequent earthquakes, the temple was almost completely destroyed.
