This gate is the entrance to the ancient city. They were built in the 1st century AD. proconsul of Anatolia Julius Frontin.

A long time ago there were two floors at the gate. Only the first floor has survived to this day, which is well preserved only on one of the towers. The towers were made of stones and were connected by three rather high arches.
