Amasra fortress in Turkey, Black Sea coast resort

At the beginning of the XIV century, the fortress was controlled by the Genoese Republic, but in 1460 the Genoese, after prolonged battles were forced to leave it. The city of Amasra is completely located on the territory of the citadel. Currently you can see only a part of the fortifications, since the Amasra fortress has not been completely preserved.
