Geography and Climate in Didim
Rating: 7,7/10 (201 votes)  The Turkish resort of Didim, the center of the administrative region of the same name, is located approximately in the middle of the Aegean coast between the cities of Kusadasi and Bodrum. The latter has an airport, which usually serves as a staging post on the way to Didim. Izmir also has its own airport. The main mode of transportation in the territory of Didim and its environs is by minibuses; the city is also a railway junction, which makes it easier for tourists from Europe to travel. The population of Didim is about 50 thousand people, the official language is Turkish, and those who speak English or French will not have problems with communication. The climate of Didim is mild, Mediterranean. Winter is warm, rains are frequent, while the summer season begins in May and is characterized by high air temperatures (33-35 °) with low humidity, which corresponds to the ideal"resort standards".
