Skier The ski area in Lech is located in range of heights from 1450 meters to 28000 meters above sea level and includes 55 tracks, among which about half – tracks of medium difficulty, 12 difficult tracks and 14 tracks for beginners. The length of marked tracks exceeds 250 kilometers, in addition, there is the possibility of off-piste skiing (180 kilometers). About 20% of the slopes have equipment for artificial formation of snow. Access to the ski areas is carried out using 84 lifts, the total capacity of which is over 44 000 people per hour.  Ratracks in action For snowboarders, Lech, like most Austrian ski resorts, offers a snowboard park and a halfpipe. In the area of Mount Kriegehorn (2 173 meters), located near Leh, there are many tracks of medium and high difficulty category. At the foot of the mountain there is a skiing area for snowboarders with a special `` pipe '', more than 1 000 meters long. For those who prefer cross-country skiing, there are special tracks with a total length of 26 kilometers. The Lech resort has a developed tourist infrastructure, offering vacationers a rental of ski equipment, a ski base, swimming pools, saunas, indoor and outdoor ice arenas, tennis courts, ski schools and a kindergarten, as well as over 50 restaurants of various cuisines of the world, more than a dozen bars, nightclubs, various shops, a cinema and a concert hall. The resort also has opportunities to relax for paragliding fans, mountain hiking, sledding, squash and bowling enthusiasts.
