Ruins of Sidim, Turkey, Xanthos Valley Resort
Rating: 7,9/10 (105 votes)  The ruins of the ancient city of Sidim are located in the surrounding areas of the village of Dodurga, on the slope of Mount Cragus. During archaeological excavations, finds were discovered here, indicating that the first settlements arose here in primitive times. Most of the inscriptions and ruins belong to the period of the Roman Empire. Also here were found Sidim coins minted in the 2nd century BC. Climbing one of the rocks, you can observe ancient stone tombs made of solid blocks. This find served as strong evidence that the city existed in classical times.
