Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova in Finland, Turku resort
Rating: 7,9/10 (3045 votes)  Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova - a complex of two museums - museums modern art and archeology museum of medieval Turku, - located near Vartiovuori hill. In 1995 in the mansion of the former manufacturer, Rettig Palace hosted a museum originally conceived as a museum of modern art - Ars Nova. During the restoration work in the garden of the mansion, a whole Turku quarter of the Middle Ages. It was this find later, after museification, became a separate museum - Aboa Vetus. In 2004, these two museums were combined into one complex called Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova. Today the museum complex is one of the most visited museums in the city of Turku.
