Finnish Maritime Museum, Turku Resort
Rating: 7,6/10 (100 votes)  The Maritime Museum is a museum dedicated to navigation. It is located in the city of Turku, on the Vartiovuori hill in the observatory building. Also the astronomical collection is kept here. The observatory building was built in 1819. 1995 to 2005 it housed various expositions of the City Art Museum Turku. In 2007, the building was acquired by the Abo Academy. Soon within its walls an exposition dedicated to navigation and astronomical research.
