Rating: 7,7/10 (604 votes) Ahmadiyya Mosque – the oldest in Berlin, the first in Germany, a mosque. It is located in the Wilmersdorf district. The mosque, built by 1925, was erected by the architect Hermann KA. Crowned with a minaret 32 meters high, the mosque was badly destroyed during the bombing of the Second World War. The Lahore movement, to which the Ahmadiyya Mosque belongs, maintains its condition. However, in 2007 the mosque was closed due to lack of funds for its maintenance. It has been reopened since 2010.
