This mosque is located on Uluchanlar Street in Ankara. It was built in 1566 in honor of Ahmed Pasha, the runaway (`` prince of princes ''). There is an octagonal tomb in the mosque, where his remains are buried.

The most attractive part of the mosque is – it is a rectangular prayer niche, measuring 14 by 14 meters, made of white marble.

The mosque is three-domed, it has a high minaret and a balcony. The entrance is decorated with three large pointed arches.

To illuminate the interior, 32 windows are cut in the walls, which are located in three rows.

The mosque was restored twice – in 1813 and 1940.
