Forest spiral – unusual house in Darmstadt, designed in a spiral shape by the Austrian architect and artist Hundertwasser and built between 1998 and 2000. Like all the creations of this famous architect, famous for his revolutionary approach to residential buildings, this complex is unusual: it completely lacks straight lines and corners. The shape of the building is borrowed from nature: the dome of the building, for example, made in the form of an onion. The building, which has more than a hundred comfortable apartments, seems to wrap itself around a wide courtyard in which there is a cozy restaurant with a cocktail bar.
