The Jumeirah Mosque was built in 1979 in the Fatimid style. It is built of pink sandstone. The mosque is a temple with a majestic dome and has two minarets. In the UAE, only Muslims can visit mosques, but the Jumeirah Mosque (the only one in the city) accepts tourists of any religion. The mosque is open to the public on Thursdays and Sundays.
