The Al-Farouk Omar ibn Al-Khattab Mosque was opened in 2011 and is part of the Al-Farouk Mosque and Islamic Center complex, which covers an area of 8700 square meters. The Al-Farouk Mosque itself occupies 4200 square meters and is considered the largest temple in Dubai.

The mosque was built in the likeness of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. It can simultaneously accommodate up to two thousand parishioners. In addition to the prayer hall, the mosque has a lecture hall and a library, where there are about four thousand religious publications.

The Farouk Mosque is the same as the Al-Farouk Omar ibn Al-Khattab mosque.
