The house is surrounded by a crenellated wall, behind which there is a small courtyard with an arched gallery. Initially, the mansion was owned by the Nogarola family, then it was confiscated by the ruler of Kongrande the First deeds of Scala, but soon after the fall of the dynasty, the building returned to its former owners. In the 15th century, Nogarola sold the house, after which the complex was divided at once by several owners. In the 1930s, the building was transferred to the literary society of Verona, which planned to arrange a Shakespeare museum in it. Due to the outbreak of World War II, the plan was never implemented. The mansion soon fell into disrepair and was used as a stable. Later, the building passed into private ownership, in the same period it was partially restored, but everything also remained closed. The municipality also planned to buy the mansion and arrange a museum in it, but these plans were rejected by him owners.
