The history of this brave girl is the subject of the museum's exposition. Spacious basement, stylized as the era of Jeanne d ’ Arc, presents such exhibits as: models of castles, a market square in 1431, books with images of armor made especially for the heroine, lithographs, flags of that era. The atmosphere here is rather gloomy. Above the basement there is a gallery of wax figures showing Jeanne's life, from her childhood in Domremy to her arrival in Rouen.
