Rating: 9,2/10 (6509 votes) Lichtenthal Allee Baden-Baden is a historical park, walking area and arboretum. The alley is located on the banks of the Oos River. Initially, the alley was a simple country road passing through fields and meadows, connecting the Lichtenthal monastery and the town square. In 1850, thanks to the owner of the casino Benaze, work began on improving the park, which was completed in 1870. A variety of different flowers and woody plants have been planted in the park. Currently, over 300 varieties of plants and trees, including rare and exotic ones, grow here. The alley originates from the Goethe Square, where the former English Court is located. and theater, and is held next to the F. Burda Museum, the city museum, a mini-golf course, the oldest tennis club and the garden and park complex of Genneranlage. The alley ends with Monastery Square.
