F. Burda Museum in Germany, spa Baden-Baden
Rating: 7,8/10 (490 votes)  The Frieder Burda Museum, located on the Lichtenthal Allee in the Kurpark, is one of the most unique and interesting museums in Baden-Baden. The opening of the museum took place in October 2004. The museum presents a collection of works of contemporary art of the 20th century. More than 500 canvases, sculptures and graphic works can be seen here. One of the central areas of the museum – classical modernism, represented by the works of Max Beckmann, August Macke, Ernest Ludwig Kirchner and others. Here you can also see a collection of Picasso's late works. Abstract American Expressionism is represented by the works of J. Pollock, K. Still, M. Rothko and others.
