Fortified borders of the Roman Empire - a segment of the border of the Roman Empire, which is a defensive structure 550 kilometers long, between the Rhine and Danube.   Starting near the town of Rheinbrohl, this section ends near the banks of the Danube. In 2005, the ruins of the structure were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
