The ruins of Roman villas are located in the archaeological park of Carthage. In the distant past, there was a Pune cemetery on this place. But despite this, during the heyday of the Roman Empire, villas for wealthy and noble Romans were built here.

One of these houses of the 3rd century was partially restored in 1960. It is called the House of the Poultry House, as mosaics that depict birds have been discovered here. The terrace of this house offers a beautiful view of Carthage.

Remains of Roman villas, like many other ruins of Carthage, are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
