The Graz Town Hall is located in the southern part of the Main Square of the city. It was built in 1893 on the site of an older town hall destroyed in 1803. In turn, the destroyed town hall was built on the site of an even older town hall. Thus, the current building is already the third such building on this site. Graz Town Hall, along with other buildings located on the square, is considered a young building. It was built in the style of classicism. Every year on the eve of Christ, Christmas markets and fairs are held in front of the town hall, which end the day before the holiday.
