The City Opera is located on the outskirts of the Graz park. It was built at the end of the 19th century by the architects Fellner and Helmer. The opera building is a combination of strictly traditional and modern style. The lightsaber, which is located inside the building, initially stood out from the general picture and was a controversial moment, but today it is considered a symbol of creativity and openness to the world. At the beginning of the 20th century, opera was a place where people gathered gentlemen and ladies for spiritual and cultural development. This tradition has remained to this day.
