The hall of the ancient Greek period displays exhibits found in the city of Corinth. There are mainly ceramics of various periods: early geometric, geometric, proto-Corinthian, Corinthian and imitation of black-figure and red-figure Attic vessels. Archaic and classical eras are represented by a marble statue of a Sphinx and bronze objects. In the next room you can see statues from the Roman and Hellenic periods, as well as Byzantine and post-Byzantine plates, vessels, coins, household items and much more. There are also mosaic floors from the Roman Villa. In the entrance hall of the museum you can see one of the most ancient mosaics in Greece, created back in 400 BC. It depicts an attack on a horse by griffins. One of the halls contains items found in Asklepion – various gifts for healing and more. And in the courtyard, decorative reliefs from Byzantium and relief slabs from the Theater are exhibited.
