Abraham's well in Israel, Hebron resort

The place where it is located is called Mamre and is revered as sacred, since it is associated with the name of the biblical patriarch Abraham. In the 20th century, research archaeological work was carried out in this area, during which an ancient find was discovered that has great historical value – the foundation of the altar and the ruins of the building towering above it, created, according to preliminary estimates by experts, around the 1st century AD.
