The village of Bozhentsi, located in the central part of Bulgaria, is today an architectural and ethnographic reserve. All houses in Bozhentsi were made in the style of the Bulgarian National Revival.

At the end of the 19th century, the village was the administrative, economic, spiritual and educational center of the surrounding villages. Today, in two houses of Bozhentsi, museum exhibitions were created, in the exposition of which exhibits of the 18th-19th centuries are presented. The Church of St. Elijah the Prophet, built in 1835, deserves special attention.
