Mogren Fortress in Montenegro, Budva resort
Rating: 7,9/10 (400 votes)  Mogren Fortress towers over one of the most beautiful beaches in Budva. It was erected back in 1860 by order of the Austro-Hungarian authorities and was designed to protect the western borders of the city. Once the fortress was quite densely surrounded by forest, but then almost all of it burned down in a forest fire, so today the view of the building is quite frightening. Vivid impressions can be obtained not even from the outermost views of the Mogren fortress, how much from the magnificent panorama of the open, spacious Adriatic Sea, which has an extraordinary color.
