Here you can see a mixture of Venetian and Mediterranean architectural styles. After going through devastating earthquakes, the Old City has nevertheless recovered and pleases tourists today. The territory of the old center is surrounded by an imposing fortress wall, and it itself is dotted with winding streets that converge at the city citadel with a museum. Beautiful churches and monasteries can also be found here.
