The House of Libya is an antique building located on the Palatine Hill in Rome. The house originally belonged to Libya – to the wife of Emperor Augustus. The House of Libya was part of the buildings of the House of Augustus complex.

Excavations of the house were carried out in 1869 on behalf of Napoleon III. Pietro Rosa supervised the excavation. The remains of lead pipes were found in the house, at that time the name of the owner of the house was indicated on the pipes, so it was assumed that the owner of the building was Libya.

The building was erected in the 1st century BC ... Remains of wall paintings have been preserved on the walls of the building, depicting candelabra, sphinxes, fruits, garlands, leaves, flowers, as well as scenes with characters from mythology and the giant Argos.
