Turkish bath Hamam Al-Basha in Israel, Akko resort
Rating: 7,9/10 (1011 votes)  The Hamam Al Basha Turkish Bath is one of the most beautiful sights of the old part of Akko. The bathhouse was built by Al-Jazzar in 1795, following the type of oriental baths characteristic of the Turkish Empire of the 17-19th centuries. When entering the bath, you can see the lobby, in the center of which is a beautiful marble fountain. The lobby is immediately followed by a corridor that connects it to the bath rooms. The hall at the end of the corridor is an octagonal steam room with vaults on columns made of marble. In the four corners of the room are the entrances to the private apartments.
