Dien Tho Residence in Vietnam, Hue Resort

The name of the building has changed frequently over the years. The current name of the residence was given by Emperor Khai Dinh, after which it was no longer changed. The residence is surrounded by a wall with several gates. At the end of the 19th century, by order of Emperor Thanh Thai, a covered gallery was erected here, connecting the residence and other buildings of the Citadel. Inside the residence, one can observe a rich interior decorated with mother-of-pearl, and the ceilings are decorated with elaborately carved lamps. The walls of the room are decorated with luminous panels decorated with fans of bird feathers. There is a charming rock garden and a small picturesque lake near the entrance to the building.
