The archaeological museum displays exhibits that were found during excavations. Moreover, one of the places where the excavations were carried out is located right behind the museum building. Remains of walls were found here, which were erected in the XIII century AD.
The objects presented are of different ages, from the Neolithic era (existed BC) to the present day, and in particular, the settlements of Khirokitia, Tenta and of the city of Kition.
The first hall of the museum contains terracotta figurines, sculptures (mostly female torsos). In another room, Mycenaean vases, a collection of porcelain from Livadia and Kition, a huge amount of glass, bronze, clay, ivory and faience are exhibited.
