At its base there are two sculptures of ancient Egyptian lions, made of marble. On the other side are the statues of Castor, Pollux and Dioscuri, discovered in the Pompey's theater during excavations. Nearby, along the balustrade, there are statues of Constantine II, Mario's trophies and two milestones.
