Photo and description

The Azam Brothers Church is considered a masterpiece of 18th century German Rococo. Its construction was financed by the architect Egid Quirin Azam, he also completed the project, while his brother, artist Cosma Damian Azam painted the temple with magnificent frescoes.

The majestic two-level main altar is dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk. The light passes through the oval window above the altar, made in the form of the sun, and even higher is the sculptural group `` Throne of Mercy '', depicting the Lord God holding the crucified Christ in his arms.
