Rating: 8,3/10 (1130 votes)  Church of St. Michael – the church, the construction of which began in 1583 and was completed only in 1597, interrupted by the fall of one of the towers. At one time, this church was one of the main citadels of the Counter-Reformation. The fate of the temple was no longer simple - and ndash; in 1944 it was completely destroyed by bombing. The restoration work was completed by 1948. The facade of the cathedral, with a triangular pediment, on which the figure of Christ rises, refers to the external design of the medieval town hall. At the entrance to the cathedral, under a marble portal, stands a statue of the Archangel Michael, made of bronze at the end of the 16th century. In addition, 15 statues of the patrons of this cathedral are placed in the niches.
