This establishment was formed from the buildings surrounding the courtyard, located near the National Theater. Today, Flecku's; considered the oldest brewery in Prague. The pub was founded in 1499. In 1762, the brewery was bought by Jacob Flekowski, after whom it got its current name. At the end of World War II, the pub was nationalized and run by a council appointed by the government. In early 1990, the brewery was privatized. The pub consists of eight rooms, the most popular of which is the Academy. This room has a great design. Visitors can also stay outdoors. Some of the brewery's rooms are only open to large groups. The total capacity of the pub – 1200 people. Visitors are offered large wooden tables with benches, in most cases the tables are common. In the evening, live music is played here, and sometimes there is a cabaret show where you can watch dancing, such as Czech polka, etc., and comedy performances. If you wish, you can take a detailed tour of the former malt house of the brewery, where you can get acquainted with the history and the process of brewing, carried out over many centuries, and also visit the exhibition of real equipment. A tour of the brewery is possible, including a beer tasting, a short film and a souvenir. The pub itself has a gift shop where you can buy some great souvenirs, including clay mugs. Fleku's Brewery; offers its guests only one type of beer, which is 'dark lager' produced here in the pub. This beer can only be tasted in Fleck's pub, as it is not sold elsewhere.
