The Museum of the History of the City of Mogilev was opened in 1990 in the restored City Hall on the central square of the city. The town hall and the city history museum are the hallmark of Mogilev. Here you can learn in detail about its history from its inception to the present day. The exposition area is 78 square meters. The main fund has more than 7 thousand storage units.

The Slavic heritage of the Belarusian people is widely represented in the archaeological exposition. Axes of the Stone Age 2-3 millennia BC, found at the sites of ancient people on the territory of Mogilev. Slavic amulets, amulets, lunettes, national Slavic women's and men's jewelry.
