The Museum of Art is located in Puolalanpuisto Park. It is housed in a large granite building, built in 1904 by the architect Gustav Nystrom, and dominates the city. Here is a collection of Finnish paintings from the classics of the turn of the century to modern art of recent years. The restoration work took a long time in the museum.
