Photo and description

On the way to the lower part of Zagreb, you can see what little remains of the city wall: a stone gate and a tower.

The stone gate was built in 1760. Near the gate there is a small chapel dedicated to the miraculous image of the Madonna and Child, which survived a severe fire in 1731.

The Lotrscak Tower dates from the 13th century. A beautiful view of the city opens from its height. Every day at noon, an old cannon shoots from here.
